Q: What is a CREDAA Advisor?  (Minimum 2 year commitment)
    A: A CREDAA Advisor is part of a team of experts that have the responsibility to advise and help CREDAA with the many projects that must be undertaken to build CREDAA to a viable entity.  The advisors will help the founders as they expand operations to help them go beyond their current reach and knowledge and to bring the diversity of knowledge which CREDAA needs to grow.

Q: What is CREDAA looking for?
    A: CREDAA  looks for individuals who are commercial real estate industry leaders and are passionate about working together in providing solutions for the troubled assets in the commercial real estate markets. The ideal candidate will be one who provides input, consideration, and direction on timely issues affecting CREDAA’s board membership base, thereby promoting changes and developing services and enhancements that increases the value of CREDAA to its members and also increases CREDAA’s relevance in the commercial real estate and financial industries.

Q: What will be my role?
    A: CREDAA recruits & elects its Advisors from the association’s membership each year. From the elected advisor members, the executive board is provided advice in the development of CREDAA. Our advisory board is primarily led by commercial mortgage lenders, asset managers , attorney’s, servicers, commercial brokers, and other business professionals who ensure the unique needs of these membership segments are at the forefront of all conference and meeting planning. Additionally, our advisory board makes sure all levels of members benefit by receiving vital information about what their clients need and want.
Unlike the Executive Board; the advisory board does not hold official power to make decisions for the company, but they can offer useful suggestions based upon research and experience.  The size of CREDAA’s advisory board will be based on the diversity CREDAA needs to accomplish its goals and directives.

    A: This is an opportunity to help make a difference in the commercial real estate industry by helping CREDAA work towards providing solutions to troubled assets assisting lenders, servicers, asset managers, receivers and placing yourself on the forefront.
This advisory role is full of great opportunities for developing team management, community organizing, and public outreach skills.  It also provides participants with significant professional-networking opportunities, especially in the commercial real estate community with an emphasis on education and solutions for distressed or troubled assets.
